Every morning on the cruise, Ethan and I ordered breakfast in bed, free of charge! That's the biggest perk to a cruise: everything you need is paid for!
That same day, we went to Ensenada, Mexico.
We decided to go on a 'fun bus tour'. They showed us around the city of Ensenada before letting us off downtown to shop, then taking us back to the ship.
While we were down shopping, we asked our tour guides where to get the best tacos. They pointed us to a place a couple blocks away and we were extremely satisfied with our virgin margaritas and carne asada/ fish (for Ethan) tacos. Yum!
Here we are at the top of the bus that showed us around. With the breeze and the sun out, the weather was perfect!
After we got back on the ship, we went and relaxed on the deck as we waved goodbye to Mexico, so relaxing!
We got ready for dinner early so we could catch the sunset.
It was gorgeous and fire-red!
I made Ethan pose so you could see the inside of the ship through the glass elevator. This doesn't do it a whole lot of justice, but you can get an idea of how flashy everything on the ship was.
Here's the view of our dinner table where we ate with the same couple every night.
For the second time that day, we drank some virgin drinks. You'll notice that both times I have a pina colada and Ethan has a mango. That's because Ethan thinks he wants mango, but I know he'll actually enjoy the pina colada drink more, so I order mine so he can have both. I think he's catching on because this is becoming quite the habit.
grilled garlic steak and lemon salmon
chocolate cake and mango cheesecake
Here we are with our waiters and the other couple who sat with us at dinner.
My favorite towel animal of the cruise was the elephant! So cute!!
Our cruise went from Monday night to Friday morning, so I know this probably doesn't seem extremely organized, but it sure was a whole lot of fun. We also went to a comedy show and a newlywed game which we were super close to getting on. Overall, we had a great time on the cruise, but when we go again, we would rather bring some friends and family!
That was so much fun!!! Thanks for posting all of that.. You two are so dang CUTE!!! You make me happy just reading your blog!! Love you kids!!!
